A great "tiny" place in mid-town. Pork Tenderloin, BLT and burgers are the style of the place. Pretty much always packed.

Hands Down Best Tenderloin I've ever had!!

We love this place and we go often. Simple and small, with delicious food. Typically busy, so you might have to wait awhile for your food. Nothing fancy. Just good food for a very reasonable price. If you would rather pay big bucks for table service and a million dollar buildout, head someplace else.

OMG!!! Best Burger I've had in a very long time! Quite possibly, ever!! So delicious, can't say enough good stuff about it! Just bring your cash, it's the only way to pay!

What a lovely micro-establishment. The food is simple but delicious. The cheeseburger and fry are my favorites. I was going daily for lunch! The 🍟 are only $2.50 but the bag runneth over. The 🍔 is only $3.75 and surprisingly juicy!Both of the employees running the register are cordial, professional, and quick. Their BLT is great too! The 🥓 is crispy and the toast 👌! The interior is space deprived but that doesn't matter because you are ordering to go😊. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Get some!

Wonderful place for tenderloins. Very light batter, maybe a tempora base. Tenderloins were crispy with sandwiches having 3 pieces on a nicely toasted bun. 2 sandwiches with fries and tater tots, 2 drinks cost less than 20.00.Just a warning, Kitty's only accepts cash!

This is a neat little fast food shop. It was originally started by a Japanese-American couple, after they were released from the Japanese internment camps following the end of WW-II. Since then, it's been sold, and is currently owned and operated by a kind Laos-American fellow.The fried porkloin is your best bet, followed by the chicken. Order the sandwiches with everything on it (unless you're afraid of spicy food!).The clientele is pretty eclectic - it varies from attorneys working in nearby crown center, patrons from nearby martini corner, and neighborhood locals.The building is tiny - plan to get your food to go, because the shop only seats about 5 people.

This is a small, soul food joint serving breakfast and lunch at it's best.Pork tenderloin, catfish.. I can't get past the catfish and the fries are abundant and FRESH!!!

The best Tenderloin Sandwich I've ever eaten anywhere! Nice small place for buy and go. It does have a small dining section. Place is always clean and is always busy with customers. The staff is always friendly and gives good customer service. I've been going to Kitty's for over 25 years and have not had a bad experience once.

Great food, very reasonably priced. The pork tenderloin sandwich is great for lunch, fills you up, but not too full. If they accepted cards i would give 5 stars. This is a cash only place, but there is a bank of america less than a mile away at 31st and main if you need an ATM.

Very good, affordable food. I'm substracting one star for the fact that they only accept cash, which seems so antiquated in 2019. Unfortunately, that will prevent me from going there more often as I rarely carry cash anymore. I realize it's a small business but they should make the payment transaction as smooth, easy, and frictionless as possible for the client. If that means raising prices a bit (or just absorbing the credit card fees), it's worth it in the long run.

Best tenderloin I've ever had. Instead of the traditional super sized tenderloin, it's 3 hamburger patty sized tenderloins. It's deep fried with a tempora batter, using vodka so that it evaporates when it hits the hot oil leaving a light and crispy batter. With a spicy homemade sauce. I hear the catfish is good, but I can't order anything else. Get the tator tots too. They are crispy on the outside and creamy like mash potatoes inside. Truly amazing!

The most amazing crinkle cuts, tater tots and pork tenderloin sandwich EVER!!! Glad we don't live here as we would be coming every week!! A MUST do recommendation, promise you will be satisfied!!!

Best pork tenderloin sandwich in town! But it's different then any you've had at other places too. The pork is sliced thin, then tempura battered & they put 3 of those on each sandwich with an amazing home made hot sauce made with Thai chili's! They do a fish sandwich & a chicken version all the same way. Great little greasy burgers too!

Good burgers at a fair price. It was really hot out that day and I had to wait in line to place my order and sweated it out to get it. Worth every minute of it !!

I really like their tenderloins sandwiches it has lettuce ,tomatoe,mayo and hot sauce. I also tried their breakfast sausage, egg,cheese ,lettuce, tomatoes mayo and onion sandwich. Some good stuff their👍

Very local. Small and cozy. Take out is best. Place has been here forever and has that KC neighborhood charm. Best to plan ahead what you want. There isnt.much room and it can get busy. Remember to bring cash as they are cash only.

Kitty's Cafe is truly a hidden gem. Those that have found this treasure keep coming back. It has been around since the 1940's and is just as good today as it has always been!

My favorite spot in Kansas City. This iconic hole in the wall has a flavor that makes it stand a part from anywhere else around. Don't expect them to change with the times. They only take cash. You're gonna wait for your food because it's cooked fresh and the place is very tiny and wait times behind other customers can be gruelling but it's all worth it because this place is just one of a kind!!!

Cheap. Good. Eclectic. I like the grilled cheese, tator tots, and Mexican coke in the bottle!

Delicious food. Simple menu. Fast cooks. Excellent pricing. Can't say enough about this tiny, "hole in the wall" KCMO institution. Definitely try the double cheese burger and if you want some spice, get the fried pork sandwich.

Some of the best burgers in town and their tenderloins are off the chain. Instead of the standard breaded tenderloin it has a few slices of batter dipped loin stacked up. Incredible.
